Seeking assistance for VICaP program
As Benson VICaP is approaching its fifth anniversary,we would like to thank Union Pacific Railroad, Kiwanis Club of Benson, and all our neighbors for their kind donations for this worthwhile ministry.
Since Benson VICaP began service in March of 2005, our volunteers have traveled 96,136 miles and given 5,238 hours of transportation services to the elderly, and/or disabled residents in Benson, Mescal, St. David, J-6, and Pomerene area.
We are dedicated to providing long-distance medical transportation to Tucson, Sierra Vista, and Wilcox for Benson area residents, and are the only non-profit organization who does so.
As we enter the year 2010, we ask area businesses and residents for their full support in continuing this vital service for those who are in need. Without donations and volunteers, both local and seasonal, this program would not be able to continue. We especially thank the many dedicated volunteers who reside in SKP Park.
We invite everyone to be a friend of VICaP: Believe in our ministry of providing long distance transportation. Support us with financial donations. Donate your time to drive, put up posters, office help, speaking to groups. Help with the collecting, cleaning and processing of yard sale items, setting up and running our semi-annual yard sales.
Pray for the program and volunteers who generously donate their time and vehicles for this worthy cause.
