Deneweth nets another honor
Staff Report
After leading the Bobcats with 18.9 points a game all season, and earning plenty of conference accolades, Benson's Tyler Deneweth is now being recognized at the state level.
The senior athlete was selected to play in the state's 1A-3A All-Star game.
He will be playing on May 20 at the US Airways Arena in Phoenix against some of the best senior players in the state.
Coach Chris Riehemann called it a "nice achievement" considering the fact that only one other player was chosen from the 2A East Conference.
Deneweth was also the only Bobcat selected to the 2A State All Tournament team.
